“Wait! You’re not going in alone, are you?”
Ignoring her comrade’s frantic cry, the blue-haired warrior kicked off the earth and surged into the sky. Flanking her were two massive, custom chainsaw-type weapons—engines of slaughter she had maintained with obsessive care for this very moment.

A mid-sized Beast-Devil had appeared on the outer plains, carving a path of cinders toward the capital. Upon hearing the scout’s report, Ldolza had vanished from the quarters without a word. A fire-wielding beast of that size usually demanded a three-person cell, but she was beyond caution.
“I need to report this… but will I be in time?” her friend whispered, looking up at a sky choked with ash-gray clouds. She feared that by the time she reached the Queen, Ldolza would be nothing but a memory.
Adjusting her visor, Ldolza spotted a crimson glow in the distance. In the center of the inferno stood a dark, towering silhouette.
It’s him.

Ldolza gritted her teeth. How long had she waited for this day? She accelerated, her psychokinetic power screaming as the shadow grew larger. Those malevolent, glowing red eyes… she had seen them a thousand times in her nightmares.
Sensing a human approaching, Girelgal drew a deep breath and exhaled a torrent of flame. Ldolza swerved at the last second, banking hard to the side to strike with her saws.
“DIE!”
Her scream was a jagged, piercing shriek. The high-speed chains tore into the beast’s thick hide, spraying dark, viscous blood. Girelgal let out a deafening howl of agony.
The image of her father, burned alive, flashed through her mind. “I’ll kill you! I’ll tear you apart!”
The twin saws shredded Girelgal’s flesh. She had bled for this. She had trained until her bones ached just to wield these heavy Blitz units as if they were extensions of her own limbs.
Girelgal thrashed in a frenzy, swinging razor-sharp claws and spitting fire. Weaving through the chaos, Ldolza locked her sights on the beast’s throat.
“AAAGH!”
The saws screeched against scale and bone. But in that moment of impact, blood erupted from Ldolza’s eyes and ears.
High-speed travel over a long distance. Simultaneous control of two heavy-type weapons. Constant sensory overload to evade attacks. She had pushed her internal power past the breaking point. Capillaries in her brain shattered, spraying a mist of brilliant red into the air.
As Ldolza’s body went limp for a fraction of a second, Girelgal did not miss his chance. An arm as thick as a tree trunk slammed into her fragile frame, pinning her against the scorched earth.
“Ah… gh…!”
She groaned, struggling to rise, but her legs refused to move. Then, she heard it—the sound of the beast drawing in another breath of fire.
